Profix AI is a marketplace that connects homeowners with independent professionals. We do not employ professionals and are not a party to any service agreement between you and a professional.
1Acceptance of these rules
By accessing or using Profix AI, you agree to these Rules & Policies. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to both homeowners seeking services and professionals offering them.
2AI diagnostics are guidance, not a guarantee
Our AI diagnostic tool provides general suggestions based on the description you provide. It is not a professional inspection, a warranty, or a substitute for an in-person assessment by a licensed professional. Always rely on a qualified professional's on-site diagnosis before authorizing any repair.
3Homeowner responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for providing safe access to the work site, and for any decisions to hire, decline, or dismiss a professional. Profix AI is a marketplace that introduces parties; the actual service is performed by an independent professional, not by Profix AI.
4Professional responsibilities
Professionals must hold and maintain any licenses, insurance, and permits required by their state and trade. You represent that your profile information is accurate, that you will perform work in a workmanlike and timely manner, and that you will communicate honestly with customers. Misrepresenting qualifications, trades, or availability may result in removal from the platform.
5Bookings, leads, and subscriptions
Viewing and claiming available leads requires an active Basic or Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Base44 Payments and may be canceled at any time, with access continuing until the end of the current billing cycle. Claiming a lead confirms your intent to follow up with the homeowner.
6Home Health Shield memberships
Home Health Shield is a paid customer membership offering benefits as described on the Shield page. Membership does not create a contractual warranty on any repair and does not alter the independent relationship between you and the professional performing work.
7Payment and pricing
Profix AI facilitates introductions and, where applicable, subscription billing. The price for any specific repair is agreed directly between you and the professional, unless otherwise stated. Profix AI is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, the labor or materials invoice.
8Conduct and prohibited use
You may not use the platform to harass others, evade subscription requirements, take leads off-platform to bypass fees, post false or misleading information, or break any law. We may suspend or remove access for abuse, fraud, or repeated poor conduct reported through the platform.
9Limitation of liability
Profix AI is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Profix AI is not liable for the acts, omissions, or results of any professional or homeowner, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a service performed through an introduction on this platform.
10Changes to these policies
We may update these Rules & Policies from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
